Dairy farming has become an effective career here and there but some farmers are still not successful as expected. The main cause is the technical matters that farmers are faced with when farming this “high-level” cattle. Dairy farming can’t be carried out in extensive way like domestic animals but requires farmers to have will to make money, to make big investment and to possess certain technical knowledge and necessary skills for daily practice.

To be successful in dairy farming, along with good breed, barn, farming, veterinary and consumption conditions, a farmer needs sufficient forage all the year around and farming techniques. This is especially important for farmers who just start.

This manual is aimed to provide farmers the most basic knowledge in nutrition and feeding for dairy cows, experience and know-how to develop feed sources, daily rations and the way to feed cows on daily basis. “The Nutrition and Feeding in Dairy Farming” is a company of training courses to make learners good dairy farmers.
